In the fourth quarter of 2017, the business transformation team at adidas was given the opportunity to convert an existing meeting room space on our campus in Portland, Oregon into a more modern meeting and collaboration space. The concept behind the renovation was to convert the room to an “Innovation Lab”, where our team could achieve our three primary targets: 1) connect people, 2) turn ideas into action and 3) facilitate creativity. Further, we wanted the room to inspire the core people values of adidas' business: creativity, confidence and collaboration. As project manager for the space, I led the end-to-end renovation from discovery to installation, including primary influence over planning, reviewing vendor RFPs, design direction, materials and budget management. The project was completed and furnishings installed in February 2018.
